Art Deco inkwell Macassar ebony desk decoration marquetry 1920-30

This magnificent art deco office kit is made of macassar ebony. This wood is precious and typical of art deco, it was appreciated for its durability and its linear veins. This trim dates from the 1920s-1930s, it has an elegant geometric shape and is decorated with marquetry: friezes of interlocking triangles and diamond patterns at the corners. This set consists of a double inkwell, a letter opener, a pen holder and a letter holder. In good general condition, I note scratches from use, gaps in the marquetry and shocks. Dimensions: inkwell 29x18cm. Pen holder 24x9cm. Letter holder 30x17x15cm. Letter opener 24x3.5cm.
