Beautiful example of this ceiling lamp by kaare klint for le klint, denmark of the 1960s. Very beautiful soft and illuminating brightness that give a room a particular luminous harmony. Kaare klint (1888 - 1954) was designated as the initiator of modern furniture design, as well as the instigator of functionalism in denmark. He designed several beautiful lamps for le klint, several of which today play a central role in danish design. A passionate architect, he teaches at the furniture school of the royal danish academy in copenhagen. Many talents such as arne jacobsen, verner panton and hans j. Wegner were among his students and in turn became world-renowned designers. His brother tage klint founded the lamp company le klint in 1943.
