Description
I am selling this small vase with a flared neck in enameled stoneware created by the bellifontain ceramist léon pointu (1879-1942), installed in 1906 in the famous burgundian region of saint-amand-en-puisaye. Produced during the art deco period, probably in the 1920s, this century-old stoneware has the signature “pointu fils” under its base and is numbered 55. It is distinguished by its purple-blue glaze with cracked bluish-white enamel flows. Called “snake skin”. The blue enamel has a very homogeneous glazed appearance and has a satin shine. It is a beautiful example of the series of cracked enamels by this artist with production characteristic of the interwar period. An original and unique gift to give (to you), which will seduce with its timeless character and elegance! ✨ very good condition: the work is in perfect condition. No enamel breakage or defect is to be reported apart from a very small cooking bubble (barely 1 mm). The vase was recently cleaned, all you have to do is place it at home! The photographs are an integral part of the description: take a good look at them and do not hesitate to ask me your questions. Height: 11cm; width: 7 cm. Collar flare: 5.5cm; circumference at its largest: 22 cm. Weight: 280g.
