An early 19th century mahogany painted dial eight day clock from w evans, shrewsbury. Circa 1790-1847 having a 13" square hand painted dial with roman hours, center with seconds dial and arched date window, signed "w.evans. Shrewsbury"; the two-train movement with shaped plates, striking the hours on a bell. Long door with crossed bands, with weight, pendulum and winder. Height 210 cm.
