Description
Beautiful wedding chest in chestnut of the renaissance, dating from the late sixteenth or early seventeenth century. On the façade of the chest are carved the coat of arms of the families of the spouses: the coat of arms on the left represents a cross pattée, the one on the right three towers of a castle. The skirting board is cut into braces with small carved patterns, the fitting is original with a moraillon lock. France or england late sixteenth century early seventeenth century.
