Danish coffee table by Ole Gjerlov-Kudsen & Torben Lind for France & Son, '60

Danish coffee table designed by ole gjerlov-kudsen & torben lind in the 1960s. This is from the 'modular' series and was manufactured by france & son. The minimalist table has a frame of solid teak wood with a warm tone. The beautiful details and finish testify to high craftsmanship. The table is in very nice vintage condition with just a few light scratches that are barely noticeable. The authentic stamp is present at the bottom of the table. France & søn – and its predecessor, france & daverkosen – are among the most sought-after names on the vintage market today. Numerous pieces still in circulation retain their original identifying labels and were designed by major mid-century danish designers such as hvidt & mølgaard, grete jalk, finn juhl, arne vodder and ole wanscher.
