Colorful Neoclassical Style Bench Revamped

Period: ca. 20th century, revamped this bench can be used all around the house; it can be used in the bedroom, as a dressing table seat, a piano stool, a hallway bench. The fluted feet with rosettes recall the neoclassical style of louis XVI. The wooden frame and legs were painted in a blue-gray color with a green undertone called “vert eden” (painting from 4murs). The bench has been covered with a new fabric depicting stylized plants and flowers on a blue background. Condition: good. This item was painted and reupholstered, but not reupholstered inside as it was in good condition. One of the rosettes has damage to the sculpture, but this is camouflaged by the paint (see photo). Some paint stains on the straps at the bottom. Dimensions: 48 cm high, 51 cm long, 39 cm wide, 4 kg.
