Provençal mirror in gilded wood, Louis XV era - 105x71cm

Provençal mirror in golden lime wood with leaf. Provençal work of the Louis XV period around 1760. Model of shape fiddled with small close-doors. Amounts in acanth staples, grape clusters and vines intertwined on an ice background. High cross with large symmetrical shell topped with branches, delicately sculpted bass cross of vine leaves. Beautiful gilding with matte and shiny double patinas. Original flooring and glasses (traces of stings due to age) Outdoor dimensions: 105 X 71 cm. Visible mirror: 65 X 47 cm. Mirror estimated at 2, 100 euros by an auctioneer in 2002. Note: small case of the wooden amount at the bottom of the mirror (see photo) hence the price of 1, 200 euros for restoration work to be expected.
