Cocotte coquelle with its vintage oven dish in orange enamelled cast iron dating from the 60s. Created by renowned industrial designer and graphic designer raymond loewy for le creuset. It has become a collector's item, which does not prevent it from working! Le creuset was created by two belgians, armand desaeghr, a cast iron specialist, and octave aubecq, an enamelling specialist, in 1925, to enamel kitchen utensils. This foundry is ideally located in the aisne at fresnoy-le-grand at the crossroads of transport routes for raw materials such as coal, iron and sand. Renowned mainly for its enamelled cast iron casseroles, it is now the world leader in enamelled cast iron cookware!
