H. Becquet Quaregnon flower vase known as Empire decor

Enamelled earthenware vase by the hubert becquet factory in quaregnon, decor called empire. Decor created around 1956, slip of flowers in relief, with thick enamel in the style of cloisonné. On a matte, slightly turquoise blue background embellished here and there with crisscrossed gold threads. Gold leaf frieze and outline gold threads also give rhythm to the vase.
