Antique rattan table

This rattan table displays an old-fashioned look in the spirit of an absolutely captivating riviera that immediately convinced us. Its previous owner stripped it, while leaving some traces of its successive layers of paint, which gives it a crazy charm. This table has a woven rattan top perched on a bamboo base. Ancient, this table has traces of its age and experience. Base with stigmata of time, peeling paintings on the whole, under top in curved wood with peeling cream paint. Note that paint chips had to lodge between the rattan top and the wooden sub-tray, and so when you move it the pieces also move. Once in place, this table remains absolutely silent. Insect holes are present. Of a beautiful simplicity this table has an artistic charm. It will be perfect transformed into a work table or dressing table with a small antique chair.
