Vintage Retro 1960s Long Abstract Blue 'Tiki' / Hawaiian Fabric Wall Hanging

A scarce vintage hand screen-printed pop art fabric wall-panel or table runner with an abstract style reminiscing on imagery found in pacific island culture, in a bold blue, green and white colourway. It was created by award-winning german painter, graphic artist, fabric designer and jeweler, traute sänger (1928-2017), for her own company, sängerform, in the late 1960s. Each runner / hanging has been hand-printed onto thick cotton panels with two stitched sides and raw edges at the top and bottom ends. They are hand-washable at 30° centigrade.
