We present the iconic "chierek", which probably everyone knows, I.e. The type 366 armchair designed by józef marian chierowski from 1959. It is one of the icons of polish modernist design in the second half of the 20th century. Due to its small size, it was one of the most popular armchairs in the people's republic of poland and its production continued continuously until the 1980s. During that time, as many as half a million copies appeared on the market. The piece of furniture, although simple in construction, is neat, light and still fits into modern interiors. A light, dynamic form and compact size are some of the advantages of the armchair, as it fits equally well into larger and smaller spaces. The furniture was designed in accordance with the principles of ergonomics and is extremely solid. Only natural beech, ash or oak wood was used for production, thanks to which many pieces have survived to our times in almost intact condition. We added a small accent in the form of veneered backs mounted to the frame with brass, golden screws. Beech woodwork has been cleaned of old coatings to raw wood, renovated and dyed in a dark walnut-rosewood color. The elastic belts of the seat and backrest and the filling have been replaced with a high-quality sponge with increased elasticity. The whole thing is upholstered with high-quality upholstery fabric with a fine braided weave.
