Old Charentaise trough in wood

Pretty and old wooden trough from charente, in the south of france. Made in the 40s. This trough, or feeder, was used to feed poultry for decades on a farm before being saved from worms! It was simply cleaned and waxed in order to keep a maximum of authenticity, it also underwent a background treatment to stop the proliferation of woodworms, before being consolidated so that it could be used as decoration for decades to come. It will be ideal on a beautiful buffet or in the center of a large table, filled with fruit or modern objects. It will bring an undeniable natural and country touch. Size: Length: 70 cm.
