Wall display Napoleon III, circa 1860

Indispensable of the napoleon III interior, the small wall display case allows small collectibles to be displayed at eye level. Here, the richly molded pediment is not the only carefully decorated element. The entire surface of the showcase is adorned with a very modern marquetry of cubes with shimmering reflections. Under the pediment, a shelf supported by two molded consoles crowns a mirror in front of which art objects multiply as if by magic. Then, below, the showcase opens through a glass door revealing two shelves. The movingly shaped background of the furniture also leaves space on the sides. The whole is in very good condition.
