Coffee table by Ico Parisi for Mim in rosewood 1960

Coffee table of the architect and italian designate ico parisi. A big name in italian furniture, ico parisi worked on multiple creations, some of which can be recognized by these atypical feet. This coffee table, published by mim in the 1960s, is made of rio rosewood and the small chromed metal. The barrel is covered with a fluted plastic tube. The feet are therefore typical of parisi's work with these feet so sculptural. The design of the rosewood on the plateau forming like a star is remarkable. Beautiful quality work offering an interesting contrast of materials.
