Description
Extremely rare. Brutalist scandinavian hanging lamp by hans bergström and erik hoglund for ateljé lyktan, sweden. Period 1960-1969. Conical shape in patinated copper and glass medallions. The shape of the offered lamp shows some similarities with bergström's successful struten lamp. However, instead of a round conical shape, bergström has used an octagon as a starting point. Furthermore, this lamp is not made of plastic, but made of patinated copper. Hoglund's glass medallions, with imprinted motifs borrowed from nordic mythology, give the lamp a mystical character. Beautiful patination on the copper. Natural signs of wear, but no defects or missing parts. This lamp costs 1000 euros or more in vintage shops. A bulb is included in the purchase (has a standard e26/e27 socket) Will be packed securely and shipped with insurance. Shipping eu 15 €. Shipping uk 30 €. Shipping rest of the world 60 €.
