Vintage spot based on to ask or fix published by habitat at the end of the seventies. On may 11, 1964, terence conran, a young furniture designer and restorer, opened habitat's first store, fulham road, in london. His ambition was to modernize british furniture by offering contemporary design at affordable prices. The brand has grown rapidly by anticipating the tastes of the public. In 1973, habitat opened its first french store in paris, in the basement of the montparnasse tower, which in a few weeks became the most hyped place in paris. Spot in english green laqué metal. Traces of use, checked operation, bayonet socket, pretty original switch.
