So-called "nuremberg" safe in polychrome wrought iron revealing a complicated mechanism activated by several pins. It has handles on the sides for transport. The facade is decorated with a false keyhole intended to deceive. The chest has additional security thanks to its bar blocking the opening. These chests were intended to keep important documents, precious objects or even money during land and sea journeys. One of the characteristics of the nuremberg chests was their complex mechanism making them practically inviolable for that time. Made in germany in the nuremberg region 17th century period this chest has a combination key clever system to discover the lock entry on the top, by moving a rivet on the upper plate.
