Magazine holder in leather and wood

Door magazines in leather and wood made with covers of old books. Made entirely in an artisanal way, this magazine holder was made from the covers of old books: the dictionnaire de trévoux (1732) and the dictionnaire de cas de conscience ou décisions des plus considérables (1736). Gilding was applied by hand to all contours. Two brass lions adorn the side panels. The magazine holder is 45 cm high, 51 cm long and 25 cm deep.
