Description
As early as 20 years, in order to push for the electrification of households, the city of osaka decided to lend ventilators to its inhabitants. For a rental price of a few tens of yen per season, the "epo" fans were offered, of which here is a survivor, functional and restored copy. They were built on the basis of the best of the two greatest producers and competitors of the time: shibaura (future toshiba) for the mechanics and kdk for the welded wire protective cage. This example includes a rare brass plate "kdk" which recalls kdk's patents on the manufacture of steel wire cages. Epo fan, 12", 100v 60hz, japan. Option 1: japanese transport/storage/exhibition box in solid wood from paulownia, matt varnished. L40 X h47 X d29 cm, 2.03 kg. Option 2: transformer 220-240v-> 110v 50/60hz 300w.
