French Art Deco Ceramic Statue Of A Panther Signed Jean, 1930s

Art deco black and gold lacquered ceramic panther signed jean, from france from the 1930s. This very realistic image depicts a black panther slowly and silently approaching its prey. There are some details in gold lacquer, such as the eyes, the tail profile and the edges of the square base. This ceramic statue is signed jean on the base.
