Art Deco “French craftsmanship” articulated lamp

This very pretty lamp with a design and materials typical of the art deco period was created in the 30s or 40s by the brand “l'artisan français”. With their marble base, these lamps were by nature all different from each other. We often say that the metal is chrome-plated, but in the case of this lamp, it would be nickel-plated metal. Thanks to its imposing and heavy base, its three joints and its extendable arm, it is fully articulated and can adapt to all light requirements! We still sometimes find them for sale, in more or less good condition, more or less original, but it is still becoming more and more difficult. It seems to me that this one has been little touched up, it is in its original state, with the patina of almost a century! And that’s also what gives it its charm! It can therefore be used as is, but a nice restoration by a professional could also suit it and give it decades of life (and it deserves it, it's almost a museum piece). It is in good general condition: it works, the joints are not seized. But it does not hide multiple signs of these almost 10 decades: the electrical outlet is old, there is no or no more switch, the metal socket is designed for a bayonet bulb (supplied with it, it will certainly last more years! And does not pose a problem with blue light like led bulbs). The coating inside the lampshade, originally white, has browned and has large gaps, traces of wear, scratches, dull haze on the nickel-plated metal, superficial corrosion on the parts. Non-nickel-plated metal, marks and small chips on the marble base. The lampshade measures 18 cm by 10 cm, the arm (unstretched) measures 30 cm in length, stretched it can be extended to 46 cm, the base measures 18.5 cm by 13.5 cm and the electrical cord measures a little more 120 cm.
