Table or pedestal table with central leg hollywood regency style "glamour chic" created by italian designer romeo rega in the 1970s. Structure of the cylindrical pedestal in chromed steel and polished brass, central shaft in polycarbonate (lucite or plexiglass). Wear in accordance with age and use, clean polycarbonate cylinder, no cracks or deep scratches. The current 130cm glass top is worn (no blow), possible to replace with a 110cm glass (in stock). Note, traces of oxidation at the foot, see image 10 (red arrow). Diameter of the foot on the ground: 50cm. Similar models found, see images 13, 14, 15. Biography: Romeo rega (1904-1984) was an italian designer active in the 1970s who combined combinations of modernism and glamour in his creations. From 1969, he embodied the hollywood regency style, producing lighting, chairs, tables, showcases... Its furniture is characterized by subtly assembled geometric shapes in modernist style with clean lines, made of chromed or gilded metal, brass or brass plated, plexiglass, smoked glass... The look and elegance make the reputation of the "rega" who would have worked with the designer of the stars willy rizzo (1928-2013) and gabriella crespi (1922-2017). Many entertainment-oriented rooms such as coffee tables with presentation space and liquor cabinets, side tables, desserts, shelves and decorative table lamps.
