"bruni brass floor lamp - attributed to the jansen house - twentieth century period" Extraordinary floor lamp, in the shape of sansevieria, shaped entirely in burnished brass and bronze, with large and tall leaves extending upwards having a single luminous support in the center at the base of the lamp. Of very good quality and an exceptional finish, this floor lamp is made in france and is attributed to the prestigious maison jansen. Period: xxth. Dimensions: height: 160cm X width: 80cm X depth: 80cm. The first originality of the house of jansen will be to lead the production of two totally different styles of furniture. She will be very interested in traditional furniture, seeking to provide the exact copy of furniture of the nineteenth and eighteenth century. She bought many antiques for sale on the market and gradually built up an impressive bank of archive images to satisfy her ambitions of veracity. In parallel, she will also create more contemporary pieces, which will both combine "historicist" forms but redesigned for a more contemporary use and taking into account the different fashions that follow one another from the end of the nineteenth century to the middle of the twentieth century with, among them, the turkish style, japonism, but also art nouveau, art deco or modern art. She also does not hesitate to collaborate with independent contemporary craftsmen, such as cabinetmaker françois linke, joseph emmanuel zwiener or jean-michel frank for the realization of unique pieces for special orders or specific exhibitions.
