Oshkosh 30s suitcase with Bakelite hangers

Travel suitcase of the us brand oshkosh, a superb vintage and decorative object dating from the 30s. A luxury fabrication with initials engraved in golden letters, wb, initials of its owner who once stayed in tunis, testifies to this label of the majestic hotel. Parchment exterior upholstery lined with leather, with leather handle, silk interior with a judicious system of removable bakelite hangers marked oshkosh. The key has not been lost, the locks are still working. Good condition with some traces of time, leather in places a little grated, and inner flap to sew up near an angle (see photo). A suitcase full of stories, trips and cruises... Width: 46 cm, depth: 46 cm (plus handle), height: 22 cm, weight: about 5 kg.
