The whole thing is called "Hair Box" or "Tiny Hair" in old English sterling silver of art nouveau period (1909) An old beautiful and still useful old flask of more than 110 years that can serve as decoration or as cotton swab holder or disc to remove makeup or as a piggy bank. This small jar is composed of the following materials: cut glass and silver This piece is particularly pretty with its cut glass sides and at the bottom a star-shaped size. The silver lid has a lovely engraved design of flowers and the words 'HAIR TIDY' on top. The main information: English certified object. Antique dealer, It was bought in England and dates from the early 1900s/ The silver hallmarks are English and prove by the research begun for the sale that they are authentic and true corresponding to the year 1909 The hallmarks are a passing lion (symbol of London).
