Ceramic covered pot by Jean Marais signed, Vallauris 80s

The jar and its lid are in very good condition, no accidents, no cracks. However, it should be noted a very small jump of enamel on the inner edge of the lid, a few millimeters. It is a piece of very beautiful workmanship, simple and raw, which was turned, then enamelled afterwards, a beautiful brown enamel, textured, rich in nuances, shimmering, and as if a little iridescent. The piece is signed jean marais, on the reverse in black ink. Production of the 80s, in vallauris. Very nice piece, strong and authentic. Rare.
