Pair of Bookcases in Solid Mahogany, Art Deco – Early 20th Century

Set of glazed bookcases reminiscent of the 19th century english style, in solid mahogany and rosewood veneer. Each opens on the front with a framed door with rosewood and lemon tree fillets. The windows and crosspieces feature diamonds and symmetrical geometric shapes. The lower part of each door has a mahogany panel surrounded by lemon tree fillets and rosewood veneer. The uprights of the bookcases are inlaid with lemon tree and the upper part, inlaid with diamonds and stylized flowers. At the top, these windows have a small cornice decorated with rosewood. Inside, five shelves are height adjustable. ******* period: early 20th century excellent condition after restoration in our workshop. Waxed finish. Delivery possible, in france and internationally.
