Zodiac Ritual Calendar Tibet

Ritual calendar in copper pushed together the twelve signs of the zodiac, the eight trigrams and in the center the nine mewas, in the upper part, chenrezi, vajrapani and manjushri as well as the kalachakra. An inscription is engraved in the lower part. Tibet, early twentieth century. Beautiful condition, rare and tiny oxidation points in gray green (barely visible to the naked eye, accentuated by the flash) 27.5 cm X 31 cm. Provenance: estate of the belgian merchant and collectiooneur claude de marteau.
