Copper closed mirror

Here we offer an extremely old mirror that has the advantage of being also relatively light. It is surrounded by a double copper frame (some sometimes speak of repoussé brass?). The central ice is octagonal and beveled. The set of mirrors that compose it is ancient, attesting to the traces on certain surfaces, as so many proofs of a history that we would like to know. The material itself, and its patina reveal a true authenticity that the stings of the mercury mirror can only attest again. The back of the mirror, an old-fashioned panel, is in itself a trace of history. It is a beautiful craftsmanship. The brightness that such a beautiful mirror reflects, in an entrance, for example, is astonishing. The warmth of the color of yellow copper is the source, as well as the wonderful drawings that the sculptor managed to sketch... The pediment alone is superb. But what family does this coat of arms come from. We don't know... Maybe now yours. How old is it. It may have been designed around the 1900s (probably much earlier) these mirrors being rather characteristic of the eighteenth and especially nineteenth centuries.
