Plate with scalloped border enhanced with a double gold frieze, decorated on the rim with the monogram a/o in gold letters bordered in red for amélie d'orléans (1865-1951), eldest daughter of the count of paris philippe VII and princess marie ysabel of orléans and borbon, infanta of spain, having married prince carlos of braganza, heir to the throne and king under the name of charles/carlos 1st (1863-1908), under the crown of the royal house of portugal. These are therefore plates from a service that belonged to queen amélie of portugal. 1 small plate: diameter: 23 cm, h: 2 cm 5 large plates: diameter: 25 cm, h: 2 cm perfect condition. Plates are sold individually.
