The curule seat is a legacy of roman antiquity. Reserved for people of power, it crosses the centuries while retaining this political symbolism. The throne of dagobert is for example built on a similar structure although it is not foldable. Finally, it is the empire style that will make the new golden age of the curule seat. Decorated with neoclassical motifs such as palmettes and rosettes, the curule seat is intended as one of the symbols linking the napoleonic reign to the prestigious memory of the roman empire. With its molded winding shoulders and saber feet, our curule seat knows the virtues of sobriety, which makes all its charm. Structure in perfect condition, tapestry in good condition. Size: Height: 66 cm. Seat height: 39 cm. Width: 64 cm. Depth: 37 cm.
