Description
Sculptural lamp to lay in gilded bronze and agate, from the 70s, by Willy Daro. Agate is a variety of calcedoine that is characterized by successive deposits of different colors or tones, it is a fine stone, this one measures no less than 22 by 18 cm and presents pretty shades of colors in shades of caramel, ochre, sand, brown ... This gives it a warm and soothing appearance. The light is projected and diffuses a gentle atmosphere. Willy Daro is a post-war, contemporary Belgian artist. Willy Daro's work has been offered at auction several times, with prices ranging from $325 to $15,012, depending on the size and support of the work. Since 2007, the artist's record price at auction has been $15,012 for a standard lamp, sold at Phillips in London in 2013. The electrical system works with two E-14 bulbs, the elements are all original and are in perfect working condition. A must-have for a top class decoration and an investment without a doubt.
