How can you give life to flashy orange ceramic tiles so typical of the 70s By combining them with a wooden frame to make a trivet that will add pep to your kitchen! I fell for these tiles without a clear idea of what I was going to do with them, but above all with the idea of saving them from being thrown away. The frame, the sides of which are in light wood and the bottom is in compressed wood, seems to me to be a children's puzzle frame which must date from around the same time. And it turns out that the tiles fit almost right in...a very small gap on one of the corners, which I couldn't remove but which I reinforced with wood glue. So once is not customary, I offer you here an upcycled object from old items. The tiles were glued with tile adhesive, they are in good condition, very smooth and shiny, no signs of wear. The frame has slight marks of use (abrasions or scratches) and stains on the underside. It measures 17 cm by 17 cm with a thickness of 1 cm.
