Daybed sofa by Ingmar Relling for Ekornes, Norway 1960

Classic of norwegian design, the vanette sofa was designed by ilmar relling and haldor vik for svane ekornes, produced in the 1960s. The mattress is made on well-preserved original springs. The wooden extension can be used not only as a practical table or storage space, but it also facilitates the conversion of the sofa into a day bed by opening the extension and placing one of the cushions in it. The wooden extension is made of teak wood, like most of the construction of the sofa, the back frame is made of beech wood.
