Jo niemeyer is an artist and designer in the field of concrete art (the concrete movement was founded by theo van doesburg in 1924). Niemeyer's work is based on the observation of nature through the use of mathematics and in particular the golden ratio. His main interest is directed towards the perception of space, time, distances and proportions, and forms the synthesis between art and nature, thus implying a dialogue between man and nature.
