Small vase with two handles in flamed sandstone - Gilbert Méténier

Small vase with two handles in flamed sandstone, crystallizations on the bottom of the vase, typical of the work of Gilbert Méténier. Very beautiful piece, signed and in perfect condition. Very pretty blue and camel colors. Gilbert méténier, son of the ceramist louis méténier, continued the family activity until 1940. He destroyed the molds and stopped producing following the war. His pieces are therefore unique examples.
