Kashmar Persian Carpet 3.8 - 3m

Hand-knotted kashmar persian rug, 3.8-3m in size. This rug comes from the small town of kashmar, in northeastern iran, known for its high quality carpets. Carpets are renowned for their unique zirhaki pattern and quite rare nowadays. They usually exist only in large sizes and in some cases are reminiscent of classic kashan rugs with their medallions. This carpet was purchased about forty years ago from an antique dealer, it is in good general condition, more photos are available on request.
