Drawing “Standing nude” by Marguerite Callet-Carcano

Very beautiful drawing of a "standing nude" by marguerite callet-carcano, stamped and dated. Marguerite callet-carcano was an italian-belgian graphic designer, who illustrated books like drama by iwan gilkin (1926), les chimères by georges rency (1928), rené by françois-rené de chateaubriand and a reissue by benjamin constant. In addition to the woodcut technique, she also used linoleum. She engraved the portrait of charles de coster for the book life and dreams. Its speckled gold frame custom-made by schleiper is in excellent condition.
