White Nisse Strinning for String wall unit with desk, Sweden 1960's

White metal risers with white veneer wooden shelves and a desk with two drawers. The shelves and desk can be adjusted to any height. (Sold without the stool) Nils "Nisse" Strinning was a Swedish architect and designer. Nisse Strinning was best known for the String bookshelf system. In 1952 he founded the two companies String Design AB and Swedish Design AB. They are icons of Scandinavian Modern design and they have won different design awards.
