Demijohn green 60 l glass

Very large demijohn glass green 60 litres in very good condition, no splinter or crack. A demijohn is a big bottle for conservation of drinks and other liquid (alcohol, acid, etc.). Spherical shape, flattened at the base, they are topped with a bottleneck of about 50 mm in diameter. Their capacity is 5 to 60 litres. Legend has it that, driven away from his Kingdom of Naples, Queen Joan came to take refuge in 1347 in his County of Provence through the road to Grasse in Draguignan. Surprised by a violent storm, it pointed to asylum the small castle of the gentleman verrier in the hamlet of "St. Paul" the fat hen.
