Napoleon III period cylinder library cabinet in mahogany circa 1850. Multiple systems front opening with 2 glass leaves, 2 paneled leaves and 1 cylinder flap. The latter revealing a magnificent interior theater with light wood drawers, storage compartments and tilting writing surface covered in leather. The tray is removable, making it very easy to work in a seated position. Panels with sculpted moldings. Interior with original spokes. Rests on an overhanging plinth. H224 X 125 X 59. Very good quality cabinetmaking.
