Berber "gargolette" Iddeqi ancient, 1st half twentieth century

The ceramics of women from rural Maghreb societies, potters, weaving machines, have a know-how that today is lost, the geometric motifs (which are found on the carpets Benni...) go back to the "Neolithic". Purity of the shapes, simplicity of the decorations, these ceramics with particular charm testify to an agreement between function form and decoration.
