Set of two old Iddeqi Berber dishes, 1st half of the 20th century

The ceramics of the women of the Maghreb rural societies, potters, weavers, have a know-how that today is lost, the geometric patterns (which we find on the Benni carpets...) go back to the "Neolithic". Purity of form, simplicity of decoration, these ceramics with their particular charm testify to a harmony between function, form and decoration.
