Chair René PROU (1889-1947) Chair with fins covered with parchment externally and internally of black leather. Black leather sheathed base. Base front and back arched. H84 x L52 x P48 cm dimensions "Born in Nantes in 1887, René Prou settled in Paris after graduating from the school Bernard Palissy. He began his career as a Decorator as Artistic Director of the House Gouffé. It is also at the beginning of his experience as a Decorator that less will be a cave decorated with beads at the universal exhibition of 1937 for the couturier Paul Poiret. During his career, René Prou had quickly of prestigious orders. Among them: the room of the Council of the discount of Paris desk and the residence of the Ambassador of the Paraguay.
