Oil on wood portrait of anemones back from the garden

The angle, the perspective (is it a stone railing high perched with a landscape below), the richness of the soft colors in semi-tones struck by the surrounding daylight (we are well out)-this painting is thought and painted with a lot of Verve. He's signed. It is signed L ESTELLON 3 31. The Estellon is a place said in the Drôme, and 3 31 could be a date, March 31st-when the anemones appear in the gardens.
