Industrial style wooden transport crate or chest

With its resolutely industrial style, this transport box with lid on 2 hinges and ingenious closing system does not look its age and yet the “BFL Équipements Nantes” stamps with a 6-digit telephone number attest to this: it dates from before October 25, 1985, the day of the transition to 8-digit numbering. It has other markings that I have not been able to decipher, some hidden by paint. It is still solid, but shows signs of its age and intensive use: various stains including paint, scratches, splinters of wood....it has had some experience, that's for sure! But could still make a nice shoe trunk in the entrance, or practical storage to slide under a bed (on wheels why not?). And the little detail which shows that even the innocuous objects were damn well thought out: when you lift the body, you realize that the side battens which serve as handles are beveled on one side for better grip! It measures 68 cm long, 41 cm wide and 19 cm deep. She weighs around 8 kg
