Mid century teak cocktail cabinet cart

This stylish, rare and compact mid century cocktail cabinet/ bar cart was designed and manufactured by elton furniture ltd of ruabon during the 1960s. Elton furniture was founded in 1938 in ruabon wales uk and only produced hand made pieces. It is made of solid teak. The cabinet is a clever, metamorphic design. Its very compact only 70cm high. Yet can hold a whopping amount of bottles and glasses. There are 2 front drop down doors that become drink prep or serving spaces and the glasses are stored safely away into the cabinet when closed and cannot fall off the glass holders when moving the cabinet around. It wheels around well on the original castors. There are divided sections inside at the base for bottles and there are cocktail stick holders at the side. Condition: the quality of the wood is beautiful but does have a few wear marks and scuffs as seen in photos. One one outer side the veneer has been removed and it has been refinished but still looks in keeping. (see last photo) the castors show signs of wear. However these are not significant and the cabinet is perfectly sound and functions as originally designed. 70cm high. 65cm wide. 40 cm deep at widest point.
