Description
Flush mount ceiling light with 'bubble' glass amber coloured designed by Helena Tynell for Glashütte Limburg. Emits a beautiful warm and diffuse light. Brass shade holders. 1960s - Germany. Tested and ready to use with a regular E27 light bulb. Height: 17cm/6.7". Diameter: 23cm/9". Helena Tynell is a Finnish glass and ceramics designer. She was a student at the school of the arts in Helsinki between, 1943-1946. She was one of the most influential designers in the Finnish glass company Riihimäki Lasi. Her work has been exhibited from 1954-1960, m (12 editions) at the Triennale in Milan, Zurich, Amsterdam and London. She has worked as a freelance designer for Flygsfors glassworks, BEGA Leuchten, Glashütte Limburg and Fostoria Glass. *Price is per piece, we have 5 pieces available.
